Events and Info

Guys, hi and welcome back... To start there are quite a number of events going down this weekend but i just need to find a way to get my nose into the 411... But not withstanding here one that might interest some...

If you love and follow fashion like me then this ones for you...
1-14 July 2009. Known and emerging fashion designers from all over the world are expected in the capital for this year's edition of Ghana fashion weekend organised by the local model agency Exopa. The four-day event at Accra International Conference Centre includes fashion shows and exhibitions under the theme 'Harnessing Creative Talents within Africa'. (1-4 July).
In support of the event the French embassy in Ghana has organised a workshop for six young Ghanaian designers, led by designer Anggy Haif from Cameroon (6-10 July). The garments designed during the workshop will be presented at a special fashion show at the residence of the French ambassador to mark Bastille Day on 14 July, accompanied by music by the Ghanaian singer Bibi Brew.

International: Modela (Nigeria), Alphadi (Niger), Boris Kodjoe (U.S.A), Ouedraogo Usman, (Burkina Faso), Bazem Se (Burkina Faso), Morenikeji Agoro (Nigeria), Ousmane Doumbia - Cote Divoire, Amadou Diop (Senegal), Behen Parfait (Cameroon), Patrick Asso - Cote Divoire, Dady De Maximo (Rwanda).
Ghanaian: Kofi Ansah, Patrick Poku Asante, Michael Allan David, Ann-Marie Addoley Addo ( Jil), Titi Ademola, Bee Arthur, Gregory A. Kankoh.
Upcoming: Elimens Kollektion, Salimi Akill, Doreen Lartey, Dzidzienyo Klekleli, Rowena Adjivon, Kwame Gyamfi Wiafe, Bern Mensah.
I guess you should fasten your seat belts and get ready to roll to Accra Ghana because for fashion that's where all roads lead.
