The ten able bodied and intelligent young adults expected to feature in this year’s edition of the popular Gulder Ultimate Search was known Saturday 11th July.

The selection process which began with about 15,000 applicants pruned down to 108 from across the country, further reduced to about 40 who were taken to the Citizen & leadership Training School, Apapa would be concluded at the Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island.10 contestants would e picked from a total of 18 expected to emerge from School sea school, Apapa.
The journey for these ten lucky youths in their quest for fame and fortune would then begin as the proceed to Omodo Forest in Aagba, Osun State, the following week to begin their search for the horn of valour.

The search begins July 18th to last till August 7th and the man or woman who finds the treasure would exchange it on August 7th for N7million, an SUV worth about N10million and another N500, 000 wardrobe allowance. All the other contestants also have a chance to win prizes with the least or tenth placed contestant expected to go home with N450, 000. As in the previous searches, the last woman standing would win an additional N1million, that is, in an event where a woman does not find that treasure at the end.

Gulder Ultimate Search is an adventure-type reality TV show that brings together 10 brave hearts that embark on the search for a buried treasure and are faced with the challenge of survival against nature. They compete amongst themselves to become the Ultimate man.
The show last for 21 days where the contestants are exposed to the cruelty of nature and have to summon all their physical and psychological survivor instincts to remain in the competition Gulder, the Ultimate beer, as usual, has promised to take television entertainment to the next level with GUS 6.

It is in its sixth season, having earlier held in Snake Island, Lagos, Obudu Ranch Resort in Cross River State, Nifor in Edo State, Shere Hills, Jos in Plateau State and Awgu Hills in Enugu State. This season's gulder ultimate search takes you to Omodo forest of Aagba community in Osun State.
