Emma Watson's Wardrobe Malfunction Functions

It's gotta be tricky figuring out what to wear on the red carpet when your fan base's average age is 9. But Hermione Granger, er, Emma Watson pulls it off smashingly at the U.K. premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (A Must Watch Movie) in a plunging Ossie Clark dress that combines a peep of sexiness with a lot of vintage couture glam and doesn't scare the kids away. Plus, we haven't seen such lovely, minimal makeup on a teenage chick in ages—how refreshing! Thats for the good side...

Till a down pour of heavy rain came to the parade... Then Poor Emma Watson had to let it all out. Which makes me ask my self the question: Dont you ever leave your house without standing in front of a huge rotating fan?... Just in case... too much talk see what i mean...

And as she was interviewed she looks on the bright side and says "At least i was wearing underwear"... Not a bad way to take a bad wardrobe Malfunction in front of a whole lot of paparazzi... Watchout Nigerian super stars check your self before we wreck you....

Transformers Sequel Hits $300 Million

It may suck the big robot when it comes to the reviews, but the Transformers sequel is also sucking in some serious bank.

After 14 days in theaters, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has hit the $300 million mark in U.S. ticket sales—second only to last summer's The Dark Knight, which went on to become the second-biggest grossing film of all time behind 1997's Titanic.

By way of comparison, 2007's original Autobots vs. Decepticons battle raked in $319.2 million during its entire domestic theatrical run, and $700 million worldwide.

Since its June 24 release, the very noisy Revenge of the Fallen, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, has grossed $600 million internationally, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. About 8 percent of the total comes from IMAX screenings and a combined 5% from GDC (Genesis Delux Cenemas) and SB (Silver Bird) screenings . A lot of cash if you ask me.

Guess you could say demolition-happy director Michael Bay has really gotten a buck for his bang.

Michael Jackson vs. Princess Di: The Winner Is...?

Data Collected form inside the U.S

1. Michael Jackson or Princess Diana? Diana, but it was very close. According to Nielsen Media Research, nearly 31 million people caught the live coverage of the Jackson memorial. Princess Di's funeral drew 33.3 million in 1997. Remarkably, Diana pulled in her audience from only eight networks, compared to the whopping 19 that carried the Jackson memorial.

2. Michael Jackson or Ronald Reagan? Both. The Jackson memorial outdrew Reagan's 2004 funeral (20.8 million); the Reagan burial—Nielsen counts the same-day events as separate and distinct—outdrew the Jackson memorial, with 35.1 million viewers.

3. Michael Jackson or Pope John Paul II? Jackson, in a rout. The pope's 2005 funeral, which aired in the wee, small hours of the morning in the States, drew a combined audience of 8.8 million.

4. Michael Jackson or Anna Nicole Smith? As big as the Smith story was—and if you think back to early 2007, it was huge—the Jackson saga has generated "about twice as much attention," the Pew Research Center found. (Emphasis added for, well, emphasis.) According to the group, Jackson coverage ate up 30 percent of network news airtime, and 28 percent of cable news airtime for the week of June 29-July 5.

5. Was the memorial service the beginning of the end of Jackson coverage? Hardly. Hours after the service had concluded and the spotlight presumably had moved on, ABC, CBS and NBC still got a combined 17.5 million people to tune in their prime-time recaps of the service.

Michael Jackson's Memorial Program

Guys, this was a living legend in his time up to the day he died... So as a tribute to him here is his memorial program so you can go through it... wish i could have scanned it... But i guess this is the best i could come up with...

Please remember Michael the way he was... When he was still our favourite childhood dancing hero from Moon Walker, our scary shy boy from Thriller and a confirmed Bad boy. Please feel free to leave your last words.

Michael Rest in Peace.

Why would you cheat on your partner/spouse

I was wondering... why is it a usual thing for people to want to look at the grass on the other side as greener? Its kind of a shock to me to find people who have been dating to for donkey year, all of a sudden to find that their partner is actually cheating on them or has not been faithful to them... Or a married couple and the husband just realizing that he loves someone else or the other way round...

I pondered for a long time, and i found that the only things standing between long term happiness and relationship break-down is .... are you ready for this?... OPENESS & TRANSPARENCY. To sum it into 1 word TRUTH. A lot of relationship lack truth and trust but i guess the root is truth...

Thinking of it i really wonder why it is so hard to tell things the way they are... In the first place if you had told the truth about how you feel about her/him you would have save your self the stress or heart ache of breaking up. Well this is just my thought WHATS YOURS? Thanx for reading.

Through the Glass by Stephanie Okereke

Actress Stephanie Okereke launched her new movie ‘Through The Glass’ at the Silver Screen Theatre of the Pacific Design Centre in Hollywood, California.
It was a great day for the Nollywood star as she also received an Award of Recognition from the California Legislature Assembly and launched her clothing line ‘The SO Collection’. Stephanie graduated from the ‘New York Film Academy’ and this is her first self-produced commercially released movie.
Her new movie tells the story of a playboy who finds himself suddenly saddled with a baby, he then seeks the help of his Nigerian neighbour (Stephanie Okereke). The two find themselves falling for each other amidst various obstacles. It stars Garreth Mckerchnie with Stephanie Okereke, Cheyenne Christenson, Brion Rose, Ranier L. Kenny, Geno Giordian, among others.
Here are some photos from the premiere and after-party.
Congrats to Stephanie.

I really think that Nigerians should be doing more in this light in terms of bringing the world to Naija... or what do you think... Haven't seen the film yet but i bet it would be something i would love to watch... as soon as i know where to get it you would be the first to know.

THANX FOR READING

R. Kelly, who performed at the Arise African Fashion Awards in Johannesburg, South Africa, last Saturday, is scheduled to play at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday and Grandwest Casino next Monday in Cape Town, South Africa.

The tickets for the Abuja and Lagos dates will be on sale at THISDAY Dome in Abuja and THISDAY Media Stores, The Palms, Lagos.

The Abuja show will hold at THISDAY Dome on Sunday, July 5, after R. Kelly's two appearances in Lagos. The venues for Lagos will be known to the ticket holders.

On July 3, in Lagos, he will give a VIP special command performance at a seven-star venue and round off the Lagos leg of the tour with another performance on July 4.

The Nokia Express Music Party

Guys on thing i can say about the nokia xpress music playlist master party is that it is true and they really gave away a bike...well i guess thats two things... but if any of you guys that attended the Lasgidi (Lagos) rave are reading this then you would agree that they could have done better in the organization of the show in general.

Allow me to expand firstly how could you bring so many people to gether in a room and make them dance to playlists that are well (No offence to all whose playlist were choosen) below standard without giving them anything to drink... for crying out loud i had to buy my own drinks at xploded prices... what is the big deal in buying a couple of canned drink from "shop right" and entertaining your guests with it.

On a lighter note i like the fact they could bring in M.I... All in all i rate the show a 40%. Thanx for reading.
