Hi there folks,
Last night's event was grand and it showcased a lot of fun talent, i was a bit astonished by the fact that almost all the winners were relatively young or new artists. Which brings me to one conclusion; there is an age for everything and everyone. No matter how long you've been in the game you would eventually become number 2, except if you are Michael Jackson of course.
Without further ceremony let me skip into the awards and the winners in no particular order.
With the beautiful host that did quite a wonderful job and had on a series on lovely outfits, i think she deserves a round of applause. Give it up for Heidi Klum (and she is not related to the naughty professor) Twitter handle @heidiklu
Carly Rae Jepson winning 2 Awards: Best Song and Best Push
Han Geng from China winning for Best Worldwide Act (The Category D'Banj was to be part of, a bit disappointing but truly i didn't expect much from our guy).
Justine Bieber winning 3 Awards (Highest winner) for Best Male (Beating a category of old men), Best World Stage and Best Pop
Linkin Park winning for (My Favorite Category) Best Rock
Nicki Minaj winning for Best HipHop (Doing much better than Rihanna, No love for that babe yesterday)
PSY my favourite act of the year 2012 winning the Best Video Category (Finally someone got an award they Deserved) Gangnam Style
Taylor Swift winning 3 Awards (Joint Highest) with Best Female (Once again no love for Rihanna), Best Live and Best Look (Which i thought Nicki Minaj was good for)
Lana Del Rey winning for Best Alternative
One Direction winning for Biggest Fans (Typical of a boy band 99% Female fans) and Best New (Also Typical of a boy band 99% Female fans)
There were some hot outfit and good looking people at the event check out what i could scoop from here and there.
